1. Business Intelligence and Reporting

New features for more targeted data analysis, along with enhancements to charts and formatting options, now support the design and interpretation of your reports.

Data Providers

• Create new calculated dimensions and metrics directly within data providers

Report Designer

• Max, min, and average aggregations now available for pie and donut charts
• Compare data across two date ranges or specific dates with enhanced date filters
• New customization options for OBS data: display, grouping, and filtering in reports
• Introducing new advanced chart types: bubble, split packed bubble, and Gantt

Report Viewer

• Object grouping labels can be hidden in table widget headers in reports
• Option to exclude tab placeholders in scheduled report exports
• Ability to duplicate existing report schedules

2. Artificial Intelligence in Clarity

With Clarity 16.4.1, Vaia has graduated from beta status and is now generally available, featuring AI agents that can analyze data, generate insights, summarize information, and leverage documents as a data source.

3. From Customer Voice to Clarity Standard

As always, software manufacturer Broadcom incorporated many key improvements into the new Clarity version through the customer innovation panel process. Among them:

• The start date of a new task follows its parent task or investment
• View options let you choose ‘prior period’ to end period or ‘next period’ to start period
• Audit records can be filtered by attribute name, including renamed attributes
