From Idea to Standard: Broadcom Integrates itd OFAST

For many years, we’ve been developing tailored extensions for Clarity that go beyond the out-of-the-box functionality – always with the goal of creating real value for our customers. And sometimes, these solutions grow into innovations that make an impact far beyond a single organization.

A Trusted Partnership with Broadcom

A recent example of this is our itd OFAST development. What started as a custom solution has now been officially adopted by Broadcom – and integrated into the Clarity standard. After the successful integration of our itd Phoenix UI, a user interface that combined Clarity PPM’s modern and classic views, this marks the second time an itdesign innovation has become part of the official product. For us, this is a strong testament to the close, collaborative partnership we share with Broadcom.

What Is itd OFAST – and Why Is It So Valuable?

itd OFAST is a modern OData-based interface that allows you to query data directly from the Clarity database. The advantage: you can use the reporting tool of your choice – whether that’s Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or another solution.
Data transfer is smooth and straightforward: you define which data from Clarity’s data warehouse should be made available, then access it with just a few clicks in your preferred reporting tool. From there, you can easily combine the attributes and objects you need to create customized, meaningful reports.

When Will itd OFAST Be Available?

Since Clarity version 16.3.2, itd OFAST has been available in the SaaS version. For on-premises customers, the integration is planned starting with version 16.4.0.
