IT and Information Security as a Foundation

IT security is our top priority on this site and in our daily work. At itdesign, we have built an infrastructure to ensure that your data and information is secure from the moment it is entered in our system to the moment it is deleted from it.

AWS Partner

itdesign Clarity SaaS is hosted on AWS EC-2 servers in Frankfurt, Germany. The server locations are tested in accordance with SOC 1, and they are also ISO 27001 certified. Clarity application data is stored redundantly at multiple isolated server locations per region to ensure the highest possible data security and availability. The data centers are monitored around the clock.

DSCO Information Security Assessment (ISA/CVA)

The DCSO Information Security Assessment (ISA/CVA) checks the security level of cloud software providers. itdesign GmbH was reviewed and rated in 2022. The results of the successful assessment are visible to members of the CVA community.

Information Security at itdesign

Maintaining the confidentiality and availability of your data is our top priority. Therefore, all employees are obliged to adhere to our information security policy and its underlying processes.

Information Security for itdesign Clarity SaaS

Your information security is also the highest priority for our itdesign Clarity SaaS. All data stored in Clarity is protected by strict infrastructure and administrative procedures.

ISO Certification

itdesign has been certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2017 since August 2019. Our certification also includes the extensions to ISO 27017 (cloud-based security) and ISO 27018 (data protection).

System Status

As part of our application management, we work together to ensure that the availability and performance of your Clarity system is always kept under control. This means you always have a high-performance system at your disposal.

TISAX

With TISAX, the ENX Association supports the recognition of information security assessment results in the automotive industry on behalf of the VDA. itdesign's extensive measures to protect sensitive information are based on the Association of the German Automotive Industry Information Security Assessment (VDA ISA). The assessment was carried out by the audit service provider TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.

Data Processing

The data processing agreement required under the GDPR already forms part of our General Terms and Conditions. If you conclude an agreement with us, you automatically also conclude a data processing agreement.

Subcontractors

We select subcontractors to process your personal data very carefully. A continuously updated list of these subcontractors is available upon request.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct sets out the guidelines that govern our daily actions. In addition to our corporate values, these also include rules on the absolute integrity in business transactions, non-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and data protection.

Sustainability

itdesign takes an active interest in the topic of sustainability, and it has hired external service providers to calculate its carbon footprint. We are constantly working to improve our environmental footprint. At the same time, an internal team regularly implements suggestions for improvement – from green electricity to subsidized public transportation and bike riding to work.
