Jaspersoft End of Life in Clarity: What You Need to Know Now

With an upcoming Clarity release in September 2026, the Jaspersoft integration will no longer be included in the standard product. For many Clarity admins, this raises the question: How will we handle existing reports in the future?

The good news: There is no immediate need to act. The Jaspersoft integration will only be lost after upgrading to Clarity 16.5.0, and with proper planning, Jaspersoft can still be used for at least another year.

At the same time, now is the right moment to plan the next steps and find a solution that truly fits your organization.

Available Options

Depending on your current situation and target vision, there are several ways to handle the Jaspersoft end of life:

Option 1: Rebuild Reporting Directly in Clarity

The integrated reporting in Clarity continues to evolve and already covers many use cases effectively.

  • Reduced complexity thanks to fewer tools

Option 2: itd Flexible Reporting

Use the reporting tool of your choice (e.g., Power BI) with Clarity as the data source – seamlessly integrated thanks to an interface based on the latest OData standard.

  • Can be combined with additional data sources
  • High flexibility for analysis and visualization
  • Reports can still be integrated into Clarity
Option 3: Continue Using Jaspersoft (Add-On)

If a direct transition is currently not feasible or desired, we offer an add-on that includes the required Jaspersoft licenses.

  • Jaspersoft can continue to be used
  • Existing reports remain available
  • Plan next steps at your own pace
